Mark Grand Officers Lunch

On the 30th September 2021 the  Mark Grand Lodge Officers that are from the Mark Lodges on the Fylde Coast gathered in Cleveleys Masonic Hall for a luncheon arranged by the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Masters Special Representative for the Fylde Coast Very Worshipful Brother Douglas John Forster Past Grand Junior Overseer and Worshipful Brother Howard Emmett Past Grand Senior Deacon. Traditionally the Grand Officers Lunch is held in May to discuss informally the end of the Masonic Seasons activities and the aspirations of the start of next Masonic Season but due to the Covid Pandemic and the ceasation of all Masonic activity they hadn’t had a get together for 18 months. It was decided that since the resumption of meetings it was timely to have a Grand Officers Lunch.

Fourteen Grand Officers including the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Keith Alan Beardmore and his Assistant Provincial Grand Master Worshipful Brother Giles Frederick Berkley Past Grand Junior Deacon sat down to partake of a delightful meal of Smoked Salmon Potato Rosti, Braised Lamb Henry with Seasonal Vegetables and a Cheese Platter all served with quality wines and port to assist the digestion. There were no toasts, just informal discussion with good food, fine wines, pleasant conversations with excellent company what a marvellous way to spend a wet Thursday Afternoon.
